In a city like New York, it can be easy to get caught up in our own stories, pouring our energy into work, family and personal growth. As followers of Jesus, we are learning to step out of our individual lives to connect with others in meaningful relationships that overflow into tangible love and service to our communities. We connect through regular parish rhythms of seasonal groups and events as well as through acts of service and renewal for our neighborhood.
We have made a "Creating a Rule of Life" available here.
We have a variety of different community groups meeting during this fall season. If you are interested in joining a group you see here, you can RSVP by emailing the contact in the description.
Family Friendly Dinner Group w/ Sean & Ali Pfitzenmaier // Sundays, 5pm
While this group is open to all ages and stages of life, it is especially welcome to those who have children. Join Sean and Ali in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn as they focus on building community, discussing Scripture and prayer. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Young Professionals Small Group w/ Jeremy Varner & Amanda Addison // Thursdays, semimonthly

Race & Faith w/ Kyndi Rudzena // Wednesdays, 8pm
Join Kyndi Rudzena for a book discussion series focused on Austin Channing-Brown’s newest book I’m Still Here: Black Dignity In A World Made For Whiteness. Channing-Brown is a powerful new voice on racial justice and offers an eye-opening account of growing up Black, Christian, and female in middle-class white America. This conversation will take place during The Table schedule at General Seminary in Chelsea. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
New Parent Lunches // Sunday, Sept. 16 & Oct. 7
Are you expecting or the parent of a child under 1 year? Join Ainsley and Simon Harris for an opportunity to connect with and support other parents in our community who are going through this season of life. Whether you have done this before or this is a totally new experience, this lunch is for you. Older siblings are welcome. We will meet at the coffee station on the 1st floor and walk to Brookfield for lunch.
Pastor David Gungor is hosting several events this Fall for dads in our community. Dad’s playdates at Washington Market Park will be held on Saturday, October 7th and Saturday, October 28th. Bring your children with you and get to know other dad’s in our community!
On Tuesday, September 25th and Tuesday, November 13th at 8pm join us for drinks and inter-generational conversation with seasoned fathers in our community to pick their brains about the challenges of fatherhood. RSVP to email@example.com for location.
