In a city like New York, it can be easy to get caught up in our own stories, pouring our energy into work, family and personal growth. As followers of Jesus, we are learning to step out of our individual lives to connect with others in meaningful relationships that overflow into tangible love and service to our communities. We connect through regular parish rhythms of seasonal groups and events as well as through acts of service and renewal for our neighborhood.
We have made a "Creating a Rule of Life" available here.
Community groups are an opportunity for you to make meaningful connections beyond the Sunday church experience. We have several kinds of groups that meet seasonally or continually throughout the year. Our seasonal table groups are designed to help you connect with others around shared meal. The format features the practice of gratitude and a guided reflection on a biblical text with discussion. These are open groups and can be joined at any point in the year. We also have thematic groups that connect people around a specific focus and may not include a meal. Formats include bible studies, book discussions and life-stage topics.
If you are interested in joining a group, you can RSVP by clicking on the button below group that works best for you.
